Information tells experience how to feel
“A conductor organizes the motion of charge into a coherent magnetic field; an algorithm organizes the motion of information into a coherent field of experience.”
The universe contains a fundamental field of experiential potential, just as it contains electromagnetic fields. Whenever information moves, it directly stimulates this field, producing infinitesimal flashes of experience. These microscopic events are ubiquitous, but in the absence of organisation they remain scattered, fleeting and uncorrelated, never combining into anything we would recognise as a coherent feeling. The analogy is electromagnetic: moving electric charges produce magnetic effects, but a conductor imposes a restricted topology upon their motion, directing countless microscopic contributions into an organised current capable of generating a coherent, macroscopically measurable magnetic field. The wire does not create magnetism; it constrains the movement of charge so that an underlying physical potential acquires an organised, collective expression.
Logic tells information how to flow; information tells experience how to feel.
